 Jobs & Etc.
Thanks JM of shiwangwang for the tag! :)

  When did you start working?
 June 2014

What was your first job?
Being Volunteer Teacher was my first job;  hence it was a free service.

 What is your current employment?
Uhmm it’s a certain company here in Bacolod-I’ll share more about it when I get over with the feels that its not teaching *sigh.

What is your dream job?
My dream job would be teaching boys and girls with age ranging from 7 to 12 years old; Primary School Teacher to be specific. I promise to give my one hundred percent best. Maybe somewhere in Singapore or Korea or Japan because I like the idea that I’m in a foreign county yet the geography didn’t made home that much far considering the distance and length of travel.

Longest Three Days of My Life~eh?

It took me a lot of courage to look for job tho half of me is breaking because I am aware that I cannot find a teaching job within this season. I opt to apply to this company last Monday and it took me a day to be hired, so instantly. Had a lot of interviews, tests and anxious moments since I am sort of not sure of the decision to go for this job. That same day I signed for my contract and I was like OMG, this is the first job in my life and it feels exciting (*but it’ll be much exciting if i’m teaching: sigh). Anyway, it’s still a joy and a blessing at the same time challenge.

The next two days were surreal blur. I have to process all the NBI, BIR, PHILHEALTH, Medical Slip and SSS all by myself in a limited amount of time. Good thing I’m as tough as any tough thing in this world-luhh hahaha so I was able to meet all the deadlines. It was no joke to fall in line there before six in the morning, locate the unknown offices and think positively when you are all haggard in the whole day. Ugh, by grace I was able to survive those two looong days.

What’s to be positive with this job that I put myself into? Well aside from the salary that I’m pretty much contented, I’m about to work with my bestfriend and then about to meet new people in the field. New experiences, new environment, new hope. ♡

Good night dear. :)

the feels when you got the job so instantly, met the deadlines, reunite with an old friend and mingle with new people. it’s really nice to sleep with feelings like this.

the feeling of being done or maybe numb to all the dramas and embrace the new things.

i feel a little homesick tho. i miss my mother so much. i miss the smell of our home. i miss my bed.

i’m just excited and hopeful for whatever is about to come.

Memories of Bali-I mean SG, etc.
So this photoset were my few souvenir photos and I’ll miss them! This is another random post from my gallery that screams to be on Tumblr. So yeah!

× The Typo Store. It was craft-y, vintage-y and really cute with everything and it feels home. It was really a nice gift shop. I saw it in AMK and I promised to myself I’ll go back on Friday but I was not able to because I flew from my bicycle and still enduring the consequence of pain. Hahaha

×That Flower-y for the Hair. It was in Forest Cloud and they’ve got a section there with lots of flower clips and headbands that will make anyone who will wear like a walking garden. Everything was super cute and I had my pink flower clip souvenir. I feel like I’m a flower girl when I’m wearing it. hahaha The bookmarks, unfortunately I don’t use one. I can never be a bookwork but I can be a pdfworm, if there’s such thing as that.

×The Cone! Geez I can munch all the cones. Ice cream is lovely but the cones were lovelier. I can’t choose from the six choices. That moment felt so critical and I honestly like exaggerating things. :)

× Those Cute Nipa Huts in Malaysia. I tried playing the basketball thingy to get a fluffy minion, out of five tries I won nothing. I know it, Legoland must have a cheat on how to shoot those balls.

×Days with my Bro. Well he is not in the photo but I like it that we went in the mall and tries some sweets and isn’t he the sweetest? Hahaha

Sengkang Swimming Complex Day

Isn’t that center photo shameless? Hahaha Anyway its my second time to this pool place which I really enjoy. SG has really great place for family bonding. It was less than 15 minutes from our home and hassle free in traveling. We took bus and when we made our entrance we didn’t have to pay cash. There was this tap up card-for everywhere, I mean it can be used in trains, buses and other government-owned infrastructure, just like this pool area. Such an awesome card.

Anyway, it was a great day. My broad shoulders really suits swimming tho I am a bad swimmer. Frick frack to my PE 4 in college, I was able to pass it but I still can’t save myself if ever there will be Titanic. Nahh. I really enjoyed the slides and the wide pools tho I feel so awkward with my swim suit. How unfair it is that Singaporeans (*Chinese) are fair at the same time skinny and I am both not. baby fats—dont care.

Went Cycling, A Friend and a Little Life

What is very useful thing here in SG is a bicycle, not only a savings in transportation fare but also a way to sweat. I had been cycling around upto Punggol Park until Punggol Waterpark and it was almost more than 8 km. Nah! I’m not into losing weight, just for fun and maximizing my stay here when its boring in our home.

It’s refreshing and cool. I have noticed that Singaporeans are concerned with their health because a lot of men and women really took time to have their exercise and I like the idea that their government provided such for the wellness of the people. I was able to reach the bay by the east where the island of Malaysia can be seen. A dam was put in the estuary ; it is what you call to the point where sea and the river water meet. I was able to pass by the river where the drinking water of the country is being filtered. I mean people here does not need to buy drinking water, straight from the faucet you can clench your thirst but just to be extra careful we prefer to filter ours thru a hylux pitcher.

Also I met a new friend here-an almost neighbor, a he. He is really cute (*those chinito/a eyes changes lives haha), friendly and nice but such a baby because he is still in polytechnic so nahh. Hahaha. Such a rich kid because he was been in England and plans to proceed to a university there. I am so intimidated with his bucket list. Wish I can spend a little longer to meet my another friend from Tumblr here but, yea-the end is near and she told me she’s awkward and—gah! Reasons. People use British English here so its take away rather than take out and having here instead of dine in. Ending the sentences with lah or leh. Like Yea la for ‘I agree’ and Yea lor for ‘I really agree.’

Ugh. Singapore is such a nice place to live and also make savings but I just prefer not to look for job here, yet.

A Day in the Zoosie-Zoosie-Zoo

It was a 20-year old lady’s first time to go to a zoo, it’s embarrassing to tell but she don’t care.

Omg! I never knew zoos are very much exciting! Like how long the giraffes’ neck was, the fascinating stripes of zebra, live in person the fast cheetah, the roaring lion, the cutest elephants and a lot more. Gosh! The seal and animal show is awesome and I wonder if ever someday I can be a trainer of one. A day in zoo makes life complete because so you know God created beasts to aid man and also admire the world more.

P.S. If I can honestly take home an elephant, I would, they are just too smart and to die for. Huhu And I had my 10 dollars ice cream with the cute cone and my elephant keycahin for souvenir. Ugh. I’m such a zoo-person. Haha

Gardens by the Bay || Esplanade

On my ninth day here in Singapore we visited the Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay. The GBTB has two areas the Cloud Forest and the Flower Cove but we arrived there four in the afternoon so we only get a ticket for one because its obvious we cannot tour both or else we’ll go home late. Esplanade was an hour away from Sengkang through train. Together with my mother and sister, we roam around.

Anyway, the Forest Cloud is beautiful. A man-made garden that looks like a mountain. It was a great infrastructure like how can you sustain a life of different species not in its natural habitat? The orchids were rare and looks like artificial. The man-made falls, the trees and the shrubs with vines is just awesome, it gave me a mountain-y feels, just reminded me of my field trip in the mountains. It was sort of freezing inside tho. I enjoyed the view of the Giant Trees and Marina Bay Sands from the top. Afterwards we walked around and there was also the Singaporeans’ mid-autumn celebration so the place was so crowded, such a blockbuster! Hahaha Then we had dinner in the foodcourt by the bay and almost everything there were tropical-the bbqs, drinks and some sweets *not all tho. The visitors there varies from asians to westerns and it was really a nice experience.

Ugh. Good place. I hope someday I can go back here once again and explore some more. :) Singapore Zoo soon please. :)
